Kristine Hermosa in "Dahil May Isang Ikaw" Primadonna Issue

Kristine Hermosa and Jericho Rosales' soap "Dahil May Isang Ikaw" is gaining grounds in the primetime. In AGB Nielsen's latest TV ratings, "Dahil May Isang Ikaw" has already climbed to the number 2 spot coming second to "Darna" in the Mega Manila Area. In the TNS national ratings, "DMII" ranked 4th, with "Tayong Dalawa", "May Bukas Pa", and "TV Patrol" in the top 3, but nevertheless beats "Darna", which came fifth, by more than 2%.

Then came the primadonna issue. Kristine has been rumored to be too demanding in the set of "Dahil May Isang Ikaw" like asking for shortened work hours just like veteran actress Lorna Tolentino.

There are also talks of Kristine failed to rport to some in-location tapings since she didn't like the place. The taping was allegedly continued when her demand/request was granted.

Cancellation/delays of tapings were also due to her "attitude problems" and this irked her co-stars in the show.

But Kristine Hermosa's camp categorically denied the issue.

"No, it's not true! Everything is going smoothly. We don;t have problems at all, not that we heard of anything, especially something that involves Kristine," Kristine's handler Alan Real said.

About the tantrums; "Unlikely. That's actually funny. She is not like that at all. She is not one to throw tantrums just so she could have her way." Real added.

“She doesn’t have to ask for anything at all because everything is in the contract to begin with. She wouldn’t have signed up for the show if she will have problems with the schedule and everything,” Real said on the "shortened shooting schedule" issue.

About the issue that Bea Alonzo will replace her if she continues with her tantrums, "That's absurd. Untrue." stressed Alan Real.

Kristine Hermosa & Jericho Rosales: Love The Second Time Around?

KRISTINE HERMOSA and JERICHO ROSALES are once again teaming-up for a new telenovela titled "Dahil May Isang Ikaw" in ABS-CBN's primetime. It can be remembered that the dou had their first team-up in "Pangako Sa 'Yo" which literally catapulted their showbiz careers.

Not only their showbiz careers that blossomed during those days, but also their feelings towards each other. But when their drama series ended and had their own separate on-screen partners, their love died down and separated.

When asked about their past, Kristine admitted that Jericho hurt her the most, that is, what happened to their relationship really hurt Kristine and admitted Jericho is her first love.

But everything has been put behind them now. They can be seen joking with each other in the set, and has matured not only personally but also in their roles in the upcoming series wheer they will portray as lawyers.

Kristine says she has no boyfriend as of this moment but says there is someone, a non-showbiz guy, who loves her and makes her happy while Jericho says he is single right after his breakup with Heart Evangelista. With their status as both "single", will there be a love between them the second time around?

KC Concepcion Plays Katy: Musical

KC Concepcion is back on stage in the upcoming stage show "Katy: Musical" which is set to be shown on December 27, 2008 in Sofitel hotel.

KC excitedly told the press what's the difference of their 'version' from the previous staging of "Katy: Musical".

"It's a new take, it's a modern take sa actual na musical na ginagawa nila before. Kasi, they already made a musical na life story talaga ni Katy. Ngayon, lahat ng kanta, sa original musical talaga kukuhanin. Tapos, iba't ibang klaseng media ang gagamitin nila on stage. Partly movie, partly musical play, partly concert. Kasi yung mga pinili nila to be playing Katy are gonna be singing as themselves. So, parang nandoon din sina Kyla, she will sing as Kyla with one of Katy's songs. We're all gonna be Katy and we'll all have the chance to be Katy for a moment," KC explained.

KC is also set to perform a duet with Jericho Rosales and a dance number with Gabriel Valenciano in the show.

Katy dela Cruz is the "Queen of Bodabil" in the Philippines and passed away November 10, 2004 at the age of 97.

"Baler" Full Trailer and Synopsis

"Baler" is the official entry of VIVA Films in this year's Metro Manila Film Festival. It is topbilled by Jericho Rosales and Anne Curtis under the direction of Mark Meily.

It is a story of love that blossomed in the middle of war in 1898.  This happened during the encounter between the 57-man Rifle Batallion of the Spanish military and the Filipino forces, which is now referred as the Siege of Baler.

Feliza Reyes (Anne Curtis) is a young Filipina who fall in love with Celso Resurrecion (Jericho Rosales), a half-Spaniard/half-Filipino (Indio) soldier who chooses to serve the Spaniards against the Filipino insurgents who are fighting for their independence.

Nanding (Phillip Salvador), Feliza's father and a member of the rebel movement, objected to Feliza and Celso's romance. But their love for each other grows so strong that even her father and the war could not break it.

The cast includes Joel Torre, Michael De Mesa, Baron geisler, Nikki Bacolod, Rio Locsin, Carlo Aquino, Ryan eigenmann, Leo Martines, Bernard Palanca, Mark Bautista, Alvin Anson and Jao Mapa. The movie is set to hit the big screen on December 25, 2008.

Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa Reunited!

Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa love team is one of the most successful in Philippine showbiz.

Their chemistry was shown in movies and TV series like "Pangako Sa 'Yo", "Sana'y Wala Nang Wakas", "Ngayong Nandito Ka", "Trip" and "Forevermore" which were all unforgettable to the viewing public.

In 2009, Jericho and Kristine will be reunited in a primetime series titled "Ikaw Lamang". It will be an original love story where viewers will be treated with superb acting from the cast which will include Tonton Gutierrez, Sylvia Sanchez and Lauren Young under the direction of award-winning director Gerry Sineneng.

The Jericho-Kristine reunion will kick-off tonight (Dec. 6) as they are going to team-up in an episode in "Maalaala Mo Kaya." This episode is a love story brought about by the effect of a love potion.
