ARA MINA Is Back In Bubble Gang


ARA MINA is back in the comedy sitcom "Bubble Gang" after almost two years of absence from the show. Ara says she really miss the cast especially Ogie Alcasid, Michael V., Wendell Ramos and the production staff of the show.

Ara begged off from the show since she had some commitments in ABS-CBN where she made two afternoon soap operas there. When she came back to GMA-7, she was immediately guested in "Totoy Bato" where sheplayed the wife of Robin Padilla. Ara was also included in "Dapat Ka Bang Mahalin" topbilled by Aljur Abrenica and Kris Bernal.

She just returned from her series of shows from the United States and Ara said a lot of her fans were delighted when she announced she is returning to "Bubble Gang".

"Sobrang natuwa sila anng sabihin kong babalik na ako. Na-miss daw kasi nila ako," Ara said.

Ara is going to start taping tomorrow and she couldn't hide her excitement in working again with the "Bubble Gang" cast.

"I'm very excited. Ang tagal ko na ring hindi sila nakatrabaho although nagkikita-kita naman kami paminsan-minsan," she said.

When asked aout her non-showbiz boyfriend, "Puwede naman pala ’yon, eh. Sobrang sarap ng feeling na walang intriga sa lovelife ko. Masarap pala ’pag non-showbiz ang karelasyon mo." said Ara.

Marian Rivera's Upcoming Shows/Projects

Marian Rivera has been very busy nowadays. Aside from her current "Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang" with real-life boyfriend Dingdong Dantes, there's a lot of upcoming shows/projects that are lined-up for her.



Marian will be paired with Dennis Trillo in APT Entertainment produced lent special titled "Sugat Ng Kahapon" which will be shown on April 11, a Black Saturday, 7-9 PM.

Another project is a GMA-7 public affairs special titled "Walang Pera" which is to be hosted by the Kapuso network's premiere host Mike Enriquez. Marian will portray the role of Juana dela Cruz, a victim of the global financial crisis. "Walang Pera" is presented by GMA News and Public Affairs and it will be shown on March 22 at 10:45 PM. According to Marian, she is thrilled and excited with this project since this is her first public affairs show and will be teamed up with a highly respectable TV personality.

Robin Padilla also entered the scene. Marian and Robin are said to have a TV project in GMA-7 primetime. There is no title yet for the said project, but a lot of fans are excited on the chemistry of the bad boy image of Robin and the Marimar of the Philippines.

Regal Entertainment has already revealed their plan of pairing Marian with Vhong Navarro in a comedy movie. Although there is no confirmation as of this writing, they are said to be working on the details and make an official statement for the movie soon.

Aside from TV and movie projects, Marian Rivera is also very busy with her endorsements. During the Holy Week, Marian is said to go to Bacoor Cavite for the blessing of her 12 door apartment which is one of her personal business engagements.

Heart Evangelista & JC de Vera Get a New Offer From GMA-7

Heart Evangelista and JC de Vera get a new offer from GMA-7 to be together in a show. This developed after JC rejected GMA's offer for him to be offered in Obra. There's also a rift between Annabelle Rama and GMA-7 that arised from this issue.

Heart also rejected GMA-7's offer for her to star in "Muling Buksan Ang Puso", then a problem of her contract also arised.

Talks has been made and lately, GMA offered the two a new show entitled "Ngayon At Kailanman" which will star them together. This is a remake of a film topbilled by Sharon Cuneta in the 80's. Katya Santos and Joyce Jimenez are also rumored to be in the show. It will be featured in GMA-7's SineNovela.

There's no final decision yet on the camp of Annabelle Rama if she is going to accept the new offer for her talents.

Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes Set New Record in Live Chat

Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes prove they still got the numbers. This after the new record they set in GMA-7's live chat. The official figure says a combined total of 6,908 were thrown to Dingdong and Marian within the two hour chat.

"It's an all time high chat new record" says a GMA-7 executive. Most of the quesions pertain to their new soap opera "Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang". Some fans suggested they don't like the character portrayed by the couple, but most of them are supportive anyway.

“Naiintindihan ko ang reaction ng fans, pero maiintindihan din nila sa mga susunod na episode kung bakit ganu’n si Proserfina. Ang importante, nagagawa namin nang tama ang trabaho namin at ‘Proserfina’ ang tawag sa akin ngayon ng tao.” Marian said.

“Hintayin nila ang transformation ng character ni Homer, magiging exciting na siya. Mas titindi rin ang conflict nila ni Rado (Gerald Anderson),” promised Dingdong.

Aside from their show, some personal questions were also thrown at them. Dingdong admitted he gave Marian a white blanket as valentine gift for Marian to use in their tapings. It's a simple gift but Dingdong said it is "meaningful and significant".

Marian however didn't disclosed her gift to Dingdong but she said they had dinner together with the cast and staff of Tadyang.

Richard Gutierrez and Rhian Ramos in Zorro

After so much ado, Rhian Ramos has finally get the nod of GMA-7 to be the leading lady of Richard Gutierrez in his upcoming teleserye "Zorro".

Although there are talks about Rhian's being "malakas" in GMA-7 management, GMA-7
executives explains why they decided to pair Rhian with Richard alongside Joyce Jimenez.

First, their loveteam in "Captain Barbell" was a consistent top-rater in the primetime soap during it's airtime. That means Filipino viewers "accepted" the Richard-Rhian tandem.

Another fact is that Rhian's "Lalola" also hit the top of the ratings and once again proved the charisma of Rhian for the Filipino audience.

Rhian humbly asks her fans to support her in her new endeavor.

JC Tiuseco is the First Sole Survivor of Survivor Philippines


JC Tiuseco has been voted as the first Sole Survivor of GMA-7's Survivor Phlippines.

After 39 days in the Devil's island, the castaways gathered once again to select the first sole survivor. The castaway jury gave JC 5 votes against 3 for the runner-up Rob Sy. The viewer's text votes or "Boto ng Bayan" also favored JC giving him 93% compared to 7% for Rob.

JC Tiuseco received 3 million pesos cash and a possible contract with GMA network.
