Arnel Pineda Featured in Oprah Winfrey Show

Arnel Pineda is featured in Oprah Winfrey Show with the theme "Don't Stop Believing". The theme really fitted Arnel in the show.

Before being a successful Journey lead vocalist, He lived a hard life in the Philippines. He had to make a living by himself when his mother died.

"I would hang out with my friends, so they would make me sing in exchange for food," Arnel said. Worse, he became homeless and slept in Manila's parks and collected scrap metal to earn money for food.

Arnel learned to sing and had a style so unorthodox that caught the attention of Neil Scholn of the famous rock band Journey. That was the beginning of Arnel Pineda's ascend to stardom and the rest is history.

Arnel Pineda and the Journey Concert in the Philippines

Arnel Pineda and the band Journey will finally hold it's first concert in the Philippines entitled "An Evening With Journey". The Filipino audience can finally listen live to the music of the world acclaimed rock band with Arnel in the lead vocals.

All members of the rock band Journey will be coming in the Philippines for the concert which include Neal Schon in the guitars, Jonathan Cain in the keyborads, Ross Valory - Bass, Deen Castronovo - drums and of course Arnel Pineda in the lead vocals.

The Journey concert in the Philippines is scheduled on March 14 at the Mall Of Asia Concert Grounds through the cooperation of Mossimo and SM.

Their Philippine concert is a big challenge for Arnel because this is his first performance in the country since he replaced Steve Perry in the lead vocals. With all humility, Arnel conceded there's only one Steve Perry but he will do his best so he can at least perform at par with him.

Arnel's single with band entitled "Revelation" is now a certified platinum record holder worldwide and the CD has already made to its million dollar sales.

The tickets for the Journey's Philippine concert are available in all Mossimo stores in Metro Manila and in Ticketnets (Tel. No. 911-5555). Tickets are prized P3,605 (VIP), P@,575(Gold), P1,545(Silver) and P515(Bronze).

Arnel Pineda and the "Journey" to Perform in the Philippines!

Arnel Pineda and the American rock band "Journey" (where Arnel is the lead vocalist) is going to perform here in the Philippines next year. This was revealed by Arnel Pineda himself in an interview in the showbiz talk show "Entertainment Live."

"I am staying until middle of March or first week of April. Dito mag-start ang leg ng Asian Tour namin so manood kayo lahat and see you next year," Arnel said.

There is no definite date yet for the concert.

Luningning and Milagring are said to idolize Arnel and the band.
