Roxanne Guinoo is Removed From Banana Split

Roxanne Guinoo is out from Banana Split. This is what we have learned from a reliable source. Roxanne is said to be up to this March only, so we will be missing her from the show starting April.

The show is entering its 3rd season by April and they will reformat the show. Aside from reformatting, the cast of "Parekoy" (Jayson Gainza, Zanjoe Marudo and John Prats) will be added as mainstays of the gag show. And since new casts are added, some of the original casts are going to leave and on e of them is Roxanne.

Roxanne just didn't fit in the show and that's the reason why she was removed. She is more fitted in drama series where she used to portray and not comedy. They were supposed to tape the last episode of the season last Thursday but Roxanne didn't go to the taping anymore. Many are speculating maybe Angelica Panganiban was hurt of the decision of the management that's why she preferred not to attend the last taping anymore.

Aside from Roxanne Guinoo, Dianne Medina was also removed from Banana Split.

Angelica refused to comment when approached by reporters.

Roxanne Guinoo Has Moved On

Roxanne Guinoo was reportedly depressed while shooting her latest movie "Shake, Rattle & Roll X", which is an official entry to the 2008 Metro Manila Film Festival. Her depression reportedly is caused by her break-up and the "Guam issue" with Jake Cuenca.

"Hindi na ako depressed. Ano ba 2009 na! Na-overcome na natin lahat ng issues,” Roxanne happily declared in Entertainment Live.

Fans are happy with this declaration from Roxanne who is looking forward of doing more projects in 2009.

Roxanne is setting aside 'Love' as of this moment and she gamely said she is happy to be "single and ready to mingle".

JC de Vera Denies Rumors About Roxanne Guinoo

JC de Vera and Roxanne Guinoo are paired in the movie "Shake, Rattle & Roll X". There are rumors that during and after the shooting of the movie, they became very close and in fact many suspects they are 'secret lovers.'

But JC dismisses all of these. "Secret lovers? Saan galing yan? Ako nga, hindi ko alam ang number niya. ‘Yun na lang ang pagdugtong-dugtunin nila. Hindi ko alam ang number ni Roxanne,” said JC in an interview.

"Noong time na na nagsho-shoot kami, pareho kaming segway-segway sa work. So pagdating namin sa shoot, pareho kaming tulog. Nakakapag-usap lang kami kapag sa scene na,” he further explains.

JC made things clear with Roxanne because according to him, he has only one apple in his eyes, and that is, the beautiful Rhian Ramos.
