Here is a new movie offering from Star Cinema titled "The Healing". It is a horror suspense film under the tutelage of Chito S. Roño. The movie is top billed by Vilma Santos and young actress Kim Chiu. Other members of the cast includes Martin Del Rosario, Mark Gil, Pokwang, Janice de Belen, Carmi Martin, Joel Torre, Ynez Veneracion and others.

It is scheduled to hit the big screens nationwide on July 25, 2012.

Kim Chiu and Piolo Pascual in a New Movie

Piolo Pascual and Kim Chiu are going to pair in a movie project that is now currently in the buzz although there is still no final detail on it. As early as today, there are already critics that are trying to undermine the project. Rumors came out that the project is already in the shelves.

But those rumors are not true. In fact, the script is already in the hands of Piolo and Kim Chiu and they are already reviewing it. Fans of Gerald Anderson and Kim Chiu are very happy that finally Kim has moved on and is now having a new love team in the person of Piolo.

Gerald Anderson & Kim Chiu Breaks Down at the Presscon of their Movie

Naging emosyunal ang presscon ng Star Cinema movie na Till My Heartaches End kaninang tanghali, October 12, sa Dolphy Theater ng ABS-CBN.

Hindi napigilan ng male lead star ng pelikula na si Gerald Anderson na mapaluha habang nagbubuhos ng kanyang saloobin tungkol sa banta sa kanya at sa kanyang pamilya mula sa fans nila ng kaparehang si Kim Chiu, ang Kimeralds.

Ang mga bantang ito ay nagsimula nang ma-link si Gerald sa kapwa nila Kapamilya star na si Bea Alonzo.

Ayon kay Gerald, may banta ang ilang fans nila ni Kim na bubuhusan siya at si Bea ng asido. May death threat din daw siyang natatanggap at maging ang kanyang ina.

Hindi maintindihan ni Gerald kung bakit umabot sa ganitong punto ang lahat samantalang ang nais lang naman daw niya ay ang magtrabaho nang maayos.

Habang nagsasalita si Gerald ay tuloy-tuloy na ang pagbuhos ng kanyang luha. Pagkatapos niyang magsalita ay nagpaalam siya para siguro ayusin ang kanyang sarili. Pero hindi na bumalik si Gerald sa presscon.

Napag-alaman ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) na dinala ang young actor sa medic dahil sa hyperventilation dulot ng sobrang emosyon na kanyang nararamdaman.

Naiwan sa harap ng stage ng Dolphy Theater si Kim, ang direktor na si Joey Reyes, at iba pang cast members ng pelikula. Hindi na rin nila napigilan ang umiyak, lalo na si Kim.

Habang tuumutulo ang luha, nakiusap si Kim sa Kimerald fans na tigilan na nila ang pagbabanta kay Gerald, sa ina nito, at maging kay Bea dahil siya raw mismo ay nasasaktan na, lalo na para kay Gerald.

Kim Chiu: I did not attempt to commit suicide

MANILA, Philippines - Young actress Kim Chiu has blasted speculations about her supposed attempt to commit suicide following her break-up with rumored boyfriend and on-screen partner Gerald Anderson.

In an interview with weekly entertainment show “The Buzz,” Chiu stressed that she would never harm herself. She also pointed out that it is a foolish thing to do.

"Alam mo kalokohan and katangahan para sa akin kung gawin ko 'yon…. Papatayin ko sarili ko, bakit? Parang sinong mag-aalaga sa mga kapatid ko? Sinong bubuhay sa kanila? And may pinagagawa akong bahay, dream [house] ko, sinong magtatapos noon?" Chiu, the breadwinner of her family, said.

Reports about Chiu's alleged attempt to commit suicide have spread like wildfire in the Internet almost 2 months ago. The reports came out amid Chiu and Gerald Anderson’s repeated assertions that they never became a couple.

In her “The Buzz” interview, the actress failed to directly address the break-up issue, but she said the actor is a good person.


"Ito sasabihin ko, lahat ng tao dumadaan sa proseso ng buhay. Nasa taas, nasa ibabaw, malungkot, masaya pero dahan dahan nagiging okay naman ang lahat. Katulad ko masaya naman ako ngayon,” she said.

She added: “And 'yong tungkol kay Ge (Anderson), ayokong isipin na masama siyang tao kasi hindi talaga. Lahat ng mga haters niya parang ako ang nasasaktan para sa kanya."

Anderson has been the subject of nasty comments after rumors about his supposed split with Chiu cropped up.

He is also being romantically linked to Bea Alonzo.

When asked to comment on Anderson-Alonzo’s purported budding romance, Chiu said: "Magandang lalaki si Gerald, aminin natin 'yon. Mabait pa, gentleman. Lahat naman magkaka-gusto sa kanya kaya hindi na imposibleng may ma-link pa sa kanya."

She has nothing against Alonzo, the young actress also maintained.

Chiu, Anderson and Alonzo are mainstays of musical variety show “ASAP XV,” but Chiu and Alonzo are not close friends.

"Hi, hello batian portion [lang kami ni Bea]. Parang ibang circle of friends nila sa ‘ASAP.’ Nagbabatian kami, okay naman po kami," she said.

Chiu also disclosed that she got deeply hurt recently, but she refused to divulge the reason or say if it is connected to the Anderson-Alonzo issue.

"Hindi naman ako robot [na] walang pakiramdam… Sa akin na lang ‘yon, sa sarili ko na lang kung anuman 'yon," the actress said.

Chiu and Anderson recently starred in hit television series "Kung Tayo'y Magkakalayo." They are now gearing up for their reunion movie, Star Cinema’s "Till My Heartaches End."

Kim chiu Is The September Cover Girl of Preview Magazine

Kim Chiu is having her stint in the cover of Preview Magazine this September 2009. Kim is going to don the latest trends in this years Autumn/Winter collection for her first solo pictorial for Preview mag.

The magazine is targetting fashionistas saying this will be the trend for them this year.

Kim also reveals her dream role in the magazine. "I want to play triplets. I want to explore three different personalities in one show; a bad, a good and one in between. I've always wanted to be part of a set of triplets, but all I have is myself," Kim said.

Kim Chui is currently in "Tayong Dalawa", with Gerald Anderson and Jake Cuenca, which is currently reaping its success in the ratings chart.

Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson will Team-up in a Movie

Sarah Geronimo is having a new leading man. After her two successful blockbuster movies with John Lloyd Cruz, namely "A Very Special Love" and "You Changed My Life", Viva Films is considering Gerald Anderson to be the next partner of Sarah in her next movie.

But Sarah doubts fans will like their team-up. "Medyo mahirap 'yan kasi alam naman natin na ka-love team ni Gerald si (Kim Chiu). Bahala na kung ano ang will ni Lord at ng management kung ano talaga kung ano ang ma-settle na," Sarah said in an interview with ABS-CBN news.

"Hindi ko naman pwedeng sabihing I fully agree. Maraming kailangang intindihin pa muna," explained Sarah.

For his part, Gerald welcomed the idea of working with Sarah. "It will be fine. When I heard it, nakaka-overwhelm talaga," Gerald said.

Gerald further confirmed speculations that he will be partnered to other female stars soon, just like what happened to other Kapamilya hearthrobs Piolo Pascual, Sam Milby and Jericho Rosales who are also partnered with different leading ladies.

"Alam namin ni Kim na the day will come na maghihiwalay kami at magkakaroon ng ibang partners," said Gerald in an interview with Bulgar.

As of this writing, Sarah is in the US for her "The Next One: US Tour" with Charlie Green, Billy Crawford and Mark Bautista while Gerald is busy with his television series "Tayong Dalawa" with Kim Chiu and Jake Cuenca.
