'Unofficially Yours' is Hot in the US

With it's nationwide opening slated on March 2, the movie "Unofficially Yours" starring Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz is getting a very warm welcome among the Filipinos in the US. This was reported by ABS-CBN in their blog recently.

Fans express their excitement during the interviews made by the Kapamilya showbiz reporters in America during the premiere showing of the said movie.

"Very, very romantic! I love it!" said a fan there.

"Walang dull moments yung movie, sobrang kinilig ako." said another one.

Even Angel Locsin expressed her excitement, "S'yempre, every time naman pag first time papakita 'yong pinaghirapan mo may kaba, may excitement, ganon,” she said.

The movie is about two casual sex partners. John Lloyd Cruz plays the role of a man who believes that relationship must start with love and not sex alone. The girl, played by Angel, believes otherwise.

But Angel Locsin made it clear that in real life, she does not believe in casual sex and stressed that love must be the basis in a relationship and not sex.

In My Life Earned 20 MIllion in the Opening Day

TV Patrol has reported that "In My Life" grossed more than 20 million in its opening day. This proves that Vilma Santos still got a huge following known as the "Vilmanians". However, Vilma said its the powerhouse cast and the people behind the movie should be given the credit.

The movie is still growing strong in the box office in these days. "In My Life" is the first movie of Vilma and her son Luis Manzano. John Lloyd Cruz joins them in the cast where he portrayed the role of the gay lover of Luis.

Maricar Reyes: The Woman Behind Luis Manzano - Angel Locsin Rift?

Maricar Reyes has been rumored as the woman behind the reported Angel Locsin - Luis Manzano breakup. The rumors just don't die down as a number of showbiz websites and prints rporting this rumor is growing in numbers.

Due to this development, Luiz Manzano finally speaks up during the press conference of his upcoming film with John Lloyd Cruz and mom Vilma Santos titled "In My Life". Luis admitted that their relationship (Luiz and Angel) is going through what he called as a "phase" at the moment. But when asked about the Maricar Reyes angle he quickly denied it saying Maricar has nothing to do with it.

"I'd been hearing the weirdest stories, I don't need to elaborate. Ang sinabi ko never was, never is, walang third party," Luis emphasized to the press.

Maricar Reyes' involvement with the actor was when she was reported to be the leading lady of Luis in "Flash Bomba" but instead the role went to Roxanne Guinoo.

Annabelle Rama Hits John Lloyd Cruz

Annabelle Rama feels really bad on John Lloyd Cruz's denial of Ruffa Gutierrez. But Annabelle made it clear that she has nothing personal against John Lloyd.

"I don't say na ayoko sa kanya kasi mabait naman siya, single at magandang trabaho. Ang ayoko lang, dinenay niya si Ruffa nang interbiyuhin siya. Bakit, ikinahihiya ba niya ang anak ko? O natatakot siyang masira ang career niya kaya gusto niyang itago? Kung love niya talaga si Ruffa, di aminin niya at dapat maging proud siya rito. Annabelle added she badly misses her grandchildren. "Paggising ko sa umaga, nandiyan na yung dalawang apo ko na umaliw sa akin. Ngayong lumipat na sila ng condo, talagang mami-miss ko sila."

Sarah Geronimo And John Lloyd Cruz Talks About "You Changed My Life"

John Lloyd Cruz said he will surely miss Sarah Geronimo after their team-up in "You Changed My Life" movie.

“After 'You Changed My Life', we’ll go on separate ways professionally in the meantime but I’m sure it’s not our last screen partnership,” John Lloyd said in an interview with The Journal.

“Having her on the set makes everything seems so light and stress-free. You’ll always have a good laugh and you’ll leave the site with a very light feeling.”

When he was asked if there's a chance that he will fall in love with Sarah; “I don’t know yet. In the first place, we don’t exactly know what’s in store for us in the coming days. All I can say is that I find Sarah someone who’s not hard to love. Any man would be proud to have her as a girlfriend,” John Lloyd answered and smiled.

But Sarah, in another interview, said she is not yet ready for a romantic relationship. The showbiz community put her on the news when she admitted she has a secret crush in showbiz. But just recently, she revealed that she just realized that she is not yet capable of handling a serious relationship.

However, Sarah is now linked to Rayver Cruz and she said that she ses nothing wrong if she is getting closer to the actor. Sarah worked with Rayver and John Lloyd in the film "You Changed My Life".

Sarah admitted that she is very excited and pressured for the performance of their movie in the box office. It can be remembered that Sarah was named by SM Cinema as the Box Office Queen of 2008, edging Ai-Ai Delas Alas for her "Ang Tanging Ina".

When asked about the issue between her and Ai-Ai over the box-office Queen title;

“For me, Ms. Ai is the box-office queen. She knows that I love her. I’ve worked with her before and I’m hats off to all her accomplishments. But I’m also very grateful to SM Cinemas for giving me the title." Sarah said with all humility.

"You Changed My Life" is slated to hit the big screens nationwide on February 25, 2009.
