Carla Abellana Debuts in the Big Screen with "Ang Nanay Kong Aswang"

CARLA ABELLANA will finally debut in the big screen. This developed after everything has been finalized in her first movie starrer with Regal Entertainment titled "Ang Nanay kong Aswang".

With Carla's primetime Tv soap "Rosalinda" climbing up the TV chart ladder, Regal has decided to initiate Carla's launching movie. As they said, "Strike while the iron is hot".

The said project was originally intended for Ai-Ai delas Alas and Eugene Domingo but for some personal reasons, the two could not commit on the movie.

The movie is about the adventures of a mother and daughter "aswangs" where Carla is portraying the role of the daughter. As of this writing, there is no final decision yet who will portray the role of the mother although Anabelle Rama is highly regarded.

Annabelle Rama Hits John Lloyd Cruz

Annabelle Rama feels really bad on John Lloyd Cruz's denial of Ruffa Gutierrez. But Annabelle made it clear that she has nothing personal against John Lloyd.

"I don't say na ayoko sa kanya kasi mabait naman siya, single at magandang trabaho. Ang ayoko lang, dinenay niya si Ruffa nang interbiyuhin siya. Bakit, ikinahihiya ba niya ang anak ko? O natatakot siyang masira ang career niya kaya gusto niyang itago? Kung love niya talaga si Ruffa, di aminin niya at dapat maging proud siya rito. Siempre ako, bilang ina ni Ruffa, nasasaktan sa treatment sa kanya ni John Lloyd." Annabelle said in an interview.

Are her grandchildren, Lorin and Venice, against John Lloyd? "No, favorite nga nila kasi they watched "BEtty La Fea" and they know him as Armando. Tilian nga sila pag nakikita nila si John Lloyd sa TV and they really know him as Armando. Favorite nila sina Zorro at Armando."

Annabelle added she badly misses her grandchildren. "Paggising ko sa umaga, nandiyan na yung dalawang apo ko na umaliw sa akin. Ngayong lumipat na sila ng condo, talagang mami-miss ko sila."
